EU AI Act compliance explainer

This one-pager is intended for legal and compliance teams evaluating Driftbase against the EU AI Act.

Articles 9 & 12 (high level)

Article 9 concerns transparency and information to users and deployers (e.g. that a system is an AI system and what it does). Article 12 requires record-keeping: logs and documentation of the AI system’s operation and significant events, for oversight and ex-post review.

How Driftbase helps

  • We provide behavioral fingerprints and drift reports that document how an AI system behaved over time and what changed between versions.
  • Exports are timestamped and audit-ready, supporting the kind of record-keeping that regulators expect.
  • We do not store raw inputs/outputs, which reduces exposure under data-protection and confidentiality requirements while still supporting technical documentation.

Use our behavioral audit exports and drift summaries as part of your broader compliance documentation. This doc is not legal advice; have your legal team confirm how it fits your obligations.
